On Saturday, July 18, 2015, the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District held a special ceremony during their board meeting to honor and promote two new battalion chiefs and two new lieutenants. The event was a proud moment for the department as they recognized the dedication and leadership of their members.
Jason McKenna was promoted to Battalion Chief, marking a significant step in his career with the fire department. Eric Levernier and Paul Schebel were both elevated to the rank of Lieutenant, while Steve McCaughey also received the promotion to Battalion Chief. These promotions reflect the hard work, commitment, and growth of each individual within the department.
