China National Heavy Duty Truck Transmission Department new assembly test line put into use

On March 16th, under the supervision of the head of the transmission department and the involvement of key personnel, a Taiwanese gearbox assembly was smoothly introduced into the new test line. After successfully completing the commissioning experiment, it was officially put into operation, marking a significant milestone for the production process. The test line is a crucial component of the newly established transmission assembly line at China National Heavy Duty Truck Transmission (CNHTC). Serving as a bridge between the new assembly line and the coating line, it has a daily testing capacity of 600 units. The new test line employs a mechanical assembly line approach, significantly improving efficiency—its trial run performance is 300% more efficient than the previous test line. This advancement not only streamlines operations but also enhances safety and reduces physical labor. Previously, manual lifting was required for testing, which was both time-consuming and risky. Now, the process is much smoother, with a cleaner work environment and more efficient logistics. The test system is powered by the "Transmission Test Run Information Management System," a custom-developed solution by CNHTC’s gearbox test team and the transmission department. This system supports paperless office practices while ensuring accurate data collection, secure storage, and clear accountability. It is fully compatible with the latest high-end AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) heavy-duty gearboxes, meeting the requirements of the transmission department's "Perfect Engineering Year" initiative. This upgrade reflects CNHTC’s ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
