Alabama News Center: What is your company’s overall focus and mission?
Caradoc Ehrenhalt: At EV Safe Charge, our mission is to support the global transition to electric vehicles by offering flexible and scalable charging solutions. We believe in keeping people moving sustainably, and our latest innovation, ZiGGY, is a game-changer in the EV charging industry. This mobile charging robot features interactive digital screens and can be deployed in various locations such as shopping centers, hotels, airports, and more. Unlike traditional stationary chargers, ZiGGY offers on-demand charging without the high cost of electrical infrastructure. Plus, it can generate ad revenue through its digital advertising platform, making it a win-win for businesses and drivers alike.
ANC: What inspired you to start this company? How do you see your role in shaping the future of energy and technology?
Ehrenhalt: I got my first electric vehicle because I wanted to help reduce carbon emissions. But I quickly realized there was a gap in the market — no one really knew how to install a charger or where to get one. That’s when EV Safe Charge was born. I want to play a key role in making electric vehicles more accessible and convenient for everyone.
