New Electronics Capabilities Are Coming to Fusion 360

At Autodesk University this year, we’re thrilled to celebrate the chance to create superior products while leveraging a more connected product development platform. In line with this vision, we’re introducing an exciting new electronics environment within Fusion 360. This update is designed to empower our customers with even greater potential for innovation. Starting in 2020, users will gain seamless access to essential electronics features right inside Fusion 360. These include printed circuit board (PCB) design, schematic editing, SPICE simulation, library management, and so much more. By unifying design, simulation, and manufacturing within a single platform, users can now turn their electronic concepts into physical prototypes without leaving the Fusion 360 environment. Our community of Fusion 360 users has been vocal about the need for tighter integration between electronic and mechanical design. In response, we’re offering a real-time solution where users can capture, design, fit, and manufacture everything in one cohesive workflow. Gone are the days of importing files, wrestling with incompatible data formats, or dealing with the usual disconnects between mechanical CAD (MCAD) and electronic CAD (ECAD) in separate tools. Instead, users will have access to a comprehensive suite of PCB layout and schematic editing tools, along with extensive library content, alongside the already robust mechanical design and manufacturing features of Fusion 360. 1. Reasons for steering failure
â‘  The steering knuckle arm is deformed. â‘¡The steering knuckle thrust bearing is out of oil or damaged. â‘¢The gap between the steering knuckle king pin and the bushing is too small or lack of oil.
④The front axle or frame deformation causes the front wheel alignment to be inaccurate. ⑤ Insufficient tire pressure. ⑥ The steering gear bearing assembly is too tight. ⑦The meshing gap of the transmission pair is too small. ⑧ The horizontal and straight tie rod ball Pins are assembled too tightly or the joints lack oil. ⑨ The steering shaft or main pipe is bent, rubbed against each other or jammed. ⑩Improper lubrication of steering gear and improper toe adjustment.
2. Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
â‘ Support the front axle and turn the steering wheel. If you feel the steering is flexible, the fault lies in the front axle and wheels. Because after supporting the front axle, the contact resistance between the wheels and the road when turning the steering wheel no longer exists. At this time, you should carefully check whether the front wheel air pressure is too low, whether the front leaf spring is good, and whether the frame is deformed.
â‘¡Support the front axle and turn the steering wheel. If you feel the steering is heavy, it means that the fault lies in the steering gear or steering transmission mechanism. At this time, the steering arm can be removed, and then the steering wheel can be turned. If it feels heavy, it means that it is an internal failure of the steering gear. Repair or replace damaged parts as needed.
â‘¢After removing the steering arm, turn the steering wheel. If you feel light and flexible, it means that the steering gear is not malfunctioning. After checking the above methods, if the tires, front leaf springs, frame, and steering gear are all correct, it can be basically confirmed.
