Upon completion, it will form an annual output of 100,000 C+ grade SUVs. Car, 200,000 sets of 2.0-liter gasoline engine production capacity.
Jinxing Lu Teshi Automobile is a joint venture established between Malaysia Proton Auto and Guangdong Jinxing Heavy Industry Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Golden Heavy Industryâ€). In April 2015, Proton Auto and Jinxing Heavy Industry signed a joint venture agreement in Xiamen. This project has been negotiated for a long time and ultimately failed due to the lack of passenger vehicle production qualifications. .

In 2006, the youth Lotus car was established. In 2012, the cooperation agreement between Young Auto and Proton Auto expired, and the young Lotus was unable to operate and was not operating properly. It was discontinued in 2015. At this time, Proton has renamed Lotus Car in the Chinese market.
In 2015, Proton Auto once again joined hands with Venus Heavy Industries to plan a domestic project for Lotus. According to the agreement, Venus Road will be responsible for the research and development, production and sales of the Lotus brand cars, engines and parts, and provide related after-sales services. The project is scheduled to be put into production in 2019. The first product is a lightweight SUV.
