Successful development of the United States screw pump overload drive head

The new ground-based driver developed by R & M Energy Systems of the United States is designed for the use of screw pumps for large diameter pumps and deep pumps. It has a sturdy structure suitable for heavy duty screw pumps. It is easy to install, has good wellhead sealing capabilities, and provides long-term, safe reversal control when shut-in. The double motor bracket can carry 37 kilowatts to 110 kilowatts of power, the maximum polished rod speed of 600 revolutions per minute, polished rod torque of 553 kg. Heavy-duty gearbox axial thrust bearings can carry the weight of the pole and screw thrust load when the rotation. The standard bearing has a nominal dynamic load of 358 kN and a gearbox assembly with a helical bevel gear directly connected to the fluid motor to store the energy released by the well while the well is shut in to effectively and safely pump the screw pump.

The compact design of this drive head simplifies field installation and installation. Its removable seal makes it easy to maintain and serviceable, suitable for polished rods with a diameter of 25.4 to 52 mm.
