I just got back from visiting the Hampshire Fire Protection District to check out their brand-new tanker, 1421. It’s an impressive piece of equipment, and I couldn’t help but snap a few photos while I was there. The first one shows the tanker from a distance, parked neatly in front of the station. Larry Shapiro took that shot, and it really captures how sleek and professional it looks.
Then I moved in closer for some more detailed shots. In one of them, you can see the side of the tanker with all its markings and features clearly displayed. Another angle highlights the back end, where everything is neatly organized for emergency response. Those were also captured by Larry, who has an eye for detail.
For the final picture, I wanted to get a bit creative. So, I crouched down lower to shoot the tanker from a slightly different perspective. This time, it really emphasizes the size and power of the vehicle. As always, Larry’s photography skills made these images stand out.
It’s exciting to see how well-equipped the Hampshire FPD is with this new addition. They’re definitely setting a high standard when it comes to firefighting resources. I’m glad I could document it for everyone to see!
