The completion of the construction of Pier 7 of the Mawotou Bridge constructed by the China Railway Construction Corporation 15th Bureau Group was completed smoothly. This is the first pier to be poured in the tender, which means that the construction of the tender once again achieved a phased progress.

The Chengdu-Guizhou Railway Mawotou Bridge is located in the Shuangshan New District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. It has a total length of 330.7 meters, a total of 10 spans and 8 piers to be built. Pier structure is a two-line rectangular solid pier. The 7th-paved pier was 13 meters high.

In order to complete the construction of the first pier body as soon as possible and with the help of the owners, supervisors and leaders of the superior, the China Railway 15th Bureau Chenggui Railway Project Department adheres to the general requirements of “high starting point, high standard management, and high efficiency”. The company has made careful preparations for the customization, assembly, concrete mixing, conveying, pouring and other aspects of the formwork and has strictly controlled the construction quality. At the same time, in the construction process, safety education, safety protection, emergency drills, etc. are used to ensure construction safety.

It is reported that there are 26 bridges for the construction of the 13 pre-construction bids undertaken by China Railway 15th Bureau Group. The successful pouring of the first bridge pier will provide valuable experience for the construction of other piers, laying a good foundation for the large-scale construction of the entire pier body.

The new railway line from Chengdu to Guiyang goes from Leshan to Guiyang to the west of Leshan City in Sichuan Province, eastwards to Weiwei County in Sichuan Province, Yibin City, Changning County, Xingwen County, Weixin County, Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province, and Bijie in Guizhou Province. City, Dafang County, Luxi County, and Guiyang City in the east, the main line is 515.02km long. The railway grade is passenger dedicated line, double line, electric traction, and the design speed is 250km/h. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2019.

After the completion of the railway, it will effectively improve the transportation conditions in the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guiyang, and promote the development of local social economy. Tens of millions of people along the railway will benefit from this.
