On Sunday morning, Harvey firefighters responded to a house fire at 328 E. 147th Place and discovered a small, one-and-a-half-story home fully engulfed in flames. The incident triggered a Full Still Alarm, but the fire was quickly brought under control. Fortunately, no one was injured during the event.
Tim Olk arrived at the scene after the fire had been extinguished and captured a few photos of the aftermath.
The fire occurred shortly after dawn, and local residents reported seeing heavy smoke from several blocks away. Emergency crews worked swiftly to contain the blaze, which was likely caused by an electrical issue. While the structure sustained significant damage, the quick response prevented the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
Residents in the area are being urged to remain cautious and report any signs of potential hazards. Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
