Aluminum Round Bars
Aluminum round bars are widely used in various industrial applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing phosphoric, nitric, chloride, and sulfuric acids. The 6061 aluminum square rod is known for its stability even at extremely low temperatures, such as that of liquid nitrogen, making it suitable for cryogenic applications. Its high commercial demand reflects its versatility and performance in demanding conditions.
For applications requiring high ductility, the 6082 aluminum flat bar offers a low sulfur content, achieved through advanced ladle refining techniques. This ensures better formability and structural integrity. In the molten state, a 5052 hexagonal aluminum rod is often exposed to vacuum to remove hydrogen, with some oxygen and nitrogen also being eliminated. This process enhances the material’s purity and mechanical properties.
The 6063 aluminum rod contains Tungsten and vanadium, which form carbides during solidification, improving the hardness and dimensional stability of the final product. Similarly, in 7075 aluminum rods, elements like manganese, silicon, or aluminum are added during steelmaking to remove dissolved oxygen, sulfur, and phosphorus from the melt, ensuring a cleaner and more consistent structure.

Available sizes range from 5mm to 500mm in diameter, with lengths up to 3000mm or more. Surface finishes include black, bright polishing, rough turning, NO.4 finish, matte finish, and BA finish.
