Heat Shield Titanium Turbo Blanket Materials:
Made from pulverized volcanic rock, this material is processed into a fiber that can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2500°F. This ensures more heat retention in the turbine, less underhood heat damage, cooler air intake, and increased horsepower.
Stronger and more durable than standard turbo blankets or shields, these titanium heat shields include a high-temperature rated silica insulation padding beneath the outer layer for added protection against extreme heat generated by the turbo.
