Design of high pressure gas tank in air compressor system

The number of air compressors can not be controlled according to the workload of the rock drill, the output air pressure is unstable, the air compressor has more faults and consumes more energy. According to the amount of gas used by the rock drill, the number of air compressors input is controlled, and the air compressor is operated by frequency conversion. The control system adopts the PLC automatic control system to work, realizes the automatic control operation of the system, automatic fault alarm and energy-saving operation.

Three air compressors were installed at the air compressor working site, and a high-pressure gas tank was installed. A pressure sensor was installed on the high-pressure gas tank to automatically collect the air supply pressure, which provided a basis for automatically controlling the air supply pressure. The control system is centered on the programmable controller PLC. It uses the way of programming and executing various operational commands, collecting field parameters through digital or analog input and output, and controlling various types of equipment operation. It has the characteristics of high reliability, strong anti-interference ability and low failure rate.

The air compressor is controlled by a frequency converter, and the frequency converter is controlled by a PLC. The air compressor frequency conversion has obvious power saving effect, and it is an ideal speed control method, which not only improves the equipment efficiency, but also meets the production process requirements, and also greatly reduces equipment maintenance and maintenance costs. At speed, the system has the advantages of frequency conversion energy saving, power factor compensation energy saving, and soft start energy saving.
