ASTM A210 Specification for Seamless Carbon Boiler Tubes

The ASTM A210 standard specifies seamless carbon steel tubes and superheater tubes used in boiler applications. These are medium-carbon steel products designed for high, medium, and low-pressure environments. The standard includes various types of tubes such as safe end tubes, minimum wall thickness arch tubes, and support tubes. The manufacturing process follows a seamless method, with the final product being either hot-rolled or cold-drawn. Surface conditions can be customized based on customer requirements.

Common delivery conditions include annealing, normalizing, and normalization followed by tempering. Surface treatments may include oil immersion, varnish coating, passivation, phosphating, or shot blasting.
