·The development of the national standard for electric vehicle power battery system will be introduced

On May 16, 2014, the 2014 International Electric Vehicle and Key Parts Evaluation Seminar Power Electric Evaluation Technology Branch was held in Changzhou. Wang Fang, chief expert in the battery field of China Automotive Technology and Research Center, revealed the progress of standardization work for electric vehicle battery packs. The first two of the national standard "Lithium-ion power battery pack and system test procedures for electric vehicles", high-power application test procedures and high-energy application test procedures have been reviewed, the third safety requirements test procedures are seeking comments, in 2014 After the completion of the consultation for half a year, the review will be submitted at the middle of 2014 or at the end of 2014.

The Electric Vehicle Subcommittee, which is responsible for the formulation of electric vehicle standards, was established in 1998 under the National Automobile Standards Committee. The secretariat is located at the China Automotive Technology and Research Center. Wang Fang is responsible for or participated in the formulation of a number of national standards for power batteries for electric vehicles. The battery cells and modules and battery pack and system standards are separately developed. In terms of standardization of battery packs, progress has been made faster. As mentioned above, the planned national standard is divided into: Part 1 High Power Application, Part 2 High Energy Application of "Lithium Ion Power Battery Pack and System Test Procedure for Electric Vehicles", which was adopted in mid-January 2014. National Standardization Technical Committee review. Part 3 is currently seeking input and will be submitted for review in mid-2014 or at the end of 2014 after completion of the solicitation of comments in the first half of 2014.

Regarding the single cell and module of the power battery, the electric vehicle sub-technical committee is based on the industry standard such as "Lithium-ion battery for electric vehicles" and converts it into the national standard, respectively: "Technical requirements for power batteries for electric vehicles and safety of test methods", "Technical requirements and test methods for electric power batteries for electric vehicles", "Technical requirements for power batteries for electric vehicles and cycle life of test methods". The first two national standards will be integrated and split based on the previous revision of the industry standard; the third is based on the industry standard opinion draft of the cycle life of the power battery. After the standard draft is formed, the comments will be sought within the standard setting working group. - 4 weeks, revised to form a public consultation draft, scheduled to be reviewed in mid-2014. In addition, there is also a standard for "Power Battery Battery Dimensions" for electric vehicles.

It will take some time to submit the review to become a national standard. According to the “Notice on the Second Batch of National Standards Revision Plan for 2012” issued by the National Automobile Standardization Committee, the national recommendation for lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles is expected to be completed in 2015.

The national standards for power battery systems and single cells for electric vehicles have long been blank. The introduction of this series of national standards will standardize the production and operation of electric vehicle power batteries. Wang Dong, director of the Power Battery Laboratory of the North China Vehicle Research Institute, told the first electric network reporter that the requirements of the national standard are relatively basic. The power battery that meets the national standard is not necessarily a good battery. The introduction of the national standard does not mean that China can make a good battery. . Wang Zidong is also the director of the national special power battery testing center for the "863" plan electric vehicle. He said, "The key to the power battery lies in the company's efforts to do the battery well. The enterprise standard must be much higher than the national standard. The national standard requires 5 items. Experiment, you have to do 500 business."

In addition to power batteries, China's electric vehicle standards are still largely unfinished. On May 15, 2014, at the 2014 International Electric Vehicle and Key Parts Evaluation Seminar, Wu Zhixin, deputy director of the China Automotive Research Center, was interviewed during the meeting, saying that the electric vehicle standard (system) was used in five to eight years. Get it right. Wu Zhixin is also a member of the National Standardization Technical Committee Electric Vehicle Sub-Technical Committee.
